The Warrior of Light is one of the many loose threads of SO2. It's never resolved whether or not Claude is the Warrior, nor even whether the legend has any basis in reality (aside from coincidence). As time goes on, the Warrior becomes irrelevant and is only mentioned here or there like a lucky talisman.
Regardless, I like the original concept. Everyone has his or her own ideas about what a messianic figure would or should look like ... and it's usually pretty cool-looking and fun to draw :D
The WOL Project is really built around this gallery. It's a pet project of mine, where I try to find artists, whose work I admire for various reasons, illustrate their interpretation of the Warrior - be it high fantasy, science-fiction, or whatever they dream up.
I've tried my hand at it as well. Apologies for clichés.
