This is a transcript of the torture sequence in St. Marguerite, where you get to choose one of five characters to be Veronica's, uh, "special play friend" XD For the most part, Veronica's lines are the same but the chosen character's dialogue and choices will differ. There are three different sets of choices. The first option in the set is always the "correct" choice that leads to the "best" possible scenario (the least amount of electrocution torture and the best consolation prize at the end xD). The second option in the set is usually the retarded/"gag" answer XD while the third option is the "worst" - in the case of the last set, the text doesn't change from the previous option, but the character screams more intensely and their shock animation is longer ^^; Interestingly enough, this is the ONLY sequence (which is NOT a cutscene) which has voice acting. XD When spoken dialogue and subtitles diverge, the former is used. If the dialogue differs to a significant degree, the subtitle text will be given in (in parentheses) immediately after. ### is reflow, or where the main dialogue/action will continue after you see the result of your choice. ========== Veronica: So who's it going to be? Veronica stands in front of the chosen character, who has been restrained against the wall in a spread-eagled pose. The chosen character groggily comes to* *chosen character line 1* Veronica: Well, how do you feel, now that you're awake? *chosen character line 2* Veronica: *raises hand to lips* Tee hee hee! You're all my slaves! Now we can spend some more quality time together! *chosen character line 3* Veronica: Ooh! Settle down! Don't you know that your queen doesn't like pathetic slaves that struggle?! *chosen character line 4* Veronica: *whips his/her face* *chosen character line 5* Veronica: *points* See! If you don't listen, you'll just have to be punished! *she walks over to an attached machine that looks like a Playstation controller ^^; laughs, and presses the red button. Electricity shoots through the restraints* *chosen character line 6* Veronica: *stops the machine* That was a taste.
